What to EXPECT

We will photograph you on location (indoor, outdoor, at your home, office, your school (with prior approval) or your favorite spot. Keep in mind, if you choose an indoor setting we will bring studio lights to control lighting elements in the environment.  95% of the portrait photographs are taken in the clients’ home or favorite local spots. This is ideal for lifestyle or environmental portraits.

Scheduling

When scheduling head shots for your office, a minimum of five subjects and a 50% deposit is required to reserve your session. Once we arrive on-site for your session, payment must be received in full prior to first photograph being taken. We will schedule a free consultation to visit your location and get all the details of your request. At the time of booking your portrait session a non-refundable deposit will be required to hold your date. Should you (The Client) need to cancel or reschedule, please notify our office 7 days prior to your scheduled appointment. 

What to wear

When deciding on what to wear it all depends on the type of portraits needed or requested. Solids are best, especially cool blues, natural tones and pastels. They are visually appealing to the eye and to the lens. However a splash of color (vibrant colors) can help accentuate the eyes or certain elements like hair color, skin, etc. The most important is making sure your clothes are comfortable and quick and easy to change during the session. Refrain from wearing clothing with stripes as it can cause a phenomena known as a moire', which will be an unwanted distraction to your photo. Although, if you prefer to wear a print that is fine...just no stripes, fine patterns or herringbone please if you so desire. For beauty shots, please make sure clothes aren't to tight as they can leave a markings/lines on the skin and they can become unsightly.

We want the session to be a relaxed and a fun experience for you. Allowing plenty of time to create custom photographs in a casual atmosphere is key to success! Amazing photography begins with everyone being at ease during the session especially for you and the photographer. Communication is key, let us know your specifics and we will do the rest. Optional Services

We have a few Make-up Artist that can help enhance your natural beauty. We don't require you to use a make-up artist but offer this service for an additional fee of $75-$100 per person depending on your beauty needs. 

Large Groups/Pricing

Call us or complete the Contact Us form to provide the specifics of your request for a free quote. Whether you're a small business or a fortune 500 company, we can accommodate your needs. Just let us know the detail and we'd be happy to help. 

At the time (booking) of signing the Contract, THE CLIENT shall pay 50% deposit to Cherie Boyd of Cherie Boyd Photography, LLC to reserve your date and time for session. We require a minimum of five subjects for on-location shoots for corporate portraits at your location. Prior to taking head shots at your location, the remaining balance must be paid in full. 

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY: For all services requested a deposit of half is required to book and/or reserve your requested date for an event. All fees must be paid in full upon delivery of images(download and/or print). If the client shall cancel without providing 7 business days notice before scheduled session, all deposit funds will be non-refundable.
